Group nutrition and weight management 8 week course 

Weekly weigh in and body measurements taken to monitor progress.  Various topics about nutrition/lifestyle challenges covered with group discussions and information hand-outs. Food diary reviews.


Focused on making small changes that can be sustained to make a big difference. Understanding food, and how it affects us physically and mentally helps us to make better choices, improve our health and achieve our goals whether thats to lose, maintain or gain weight. Discuss energy balance, talk about alternative food/meal options and ways to easily increase physical activity.  Work together and support each other in making the right choices for 2017, and the rest of your life with this social, friendly and supportive nutrition and weight management program.

Private one to one nutrition and weight management 9 week course 

This course follows a similar structure to the group program but is bespoke, and tailored to the individual client. Whole Health Design are equipped to devise solutions to overcome barriers to achieving your goals whatever your lifestyle.  The changes you make will be manageable and the choices you make will improve your health.  A weekly private meeting at Whole Health Design takes you through the course content where you discuss food diaries, weekly measurements and monitoring that works for your and your schedule.

Continued nutritional support

After completing the nutrition and weight management courses, you can extend the support on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis to ensure that continued adherence. Down let the good work come undone, and use the tools you have available. Here we can monitor measurements, check food diaries, and manage  and overcome obstacles such as social commitments, holidays and other life disruptions. 

These session can also be taken as a standalone without the prior 8 week set course.  Perhaps you are happy with your nutritional habits and understanding but need some further advice or tweaking for a specific goal or target, or you simps want that weekly monitoring to keeo you on track. Whatever it is, we can make it work for you.

Course content is from reputable sources, based on UK government guidelines and accredited with the Association for Nutrition (AfN).  Avoid wasting time with confusing and conflicting information on the internet, stop yo yo dieting and faddy quick fixes and make the changes for good whether you want to lose or gain weight.

Reducing our weight to healthy levels and improving our nutritional habits not only affects the way a person looks and feels but has huge health benefits, including reducing the chances of developing cardiovascular disease, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, pulmonary disease, mental health problems, osteoarthritis and certain cancers.
